This elegant candlestick was designed by Peter Seidelin Jessen in 1997. One of the earliest “candlesticks” used by peasants in the Middle Ages, was a
combination of a stand and a clip to hold a rush dipped in tallow, a Rush-Light. Translated intp danish language, rush is called “Siv”.
The candle holders height is variable, the height of the stand is 23,4 cm. This heavy (weight 560 gr. ) but elegant table light consists of brass and stainless steel and is made in Denmark by Delite.
